He was born in Springfields, Massachusetts, and grew up there. Theodor got his degree from Dartmouth College and then went to London to study at Lincon College.

In February 1927, Theodor quit college and moved back to the United States. He began to write and send his work to magazines and publishers of books. The Saturday Evening Post was the first place to print Thoedor’s work. It was a cartoon.

Later, Geisel moved to New York and began working at a magazine company called Judge. He was able to take care of himself financially after he got a job at the magazine and married Palmer.

During World War II, Geisel started making cartoons that were political and got a lot of praise from the public. And to think that I saw it on Mulberry Road,” “Gerald McBoing Boing,” “Green Eggs and Ham,” and “Horton Hatches an Egg” are all famous works by Dr Seuss.

The Cat in the Hat by Theodor is another of his classic book. Theodor also used to make cartoons for a company that placed ads for products. Geisel has won several awards in his life, including the Lewis Carroll Shelf Award in 1958 for his book Horton Hatches the Egg and the same award again in 1961 for the same book.

His birthday, March 2, was given to the National Read Across America Day group in his honour. He wrote well-liked books for kids.

Geisel has also won an Emmy for Outstanding Children’s Special on Primetime. Geisel’s first published work, Horton Hatches the Egg, will be turned into a cartoon. Giesel made his cartoons with the shady look of pencil drawings or watercolours. He gave his characters a lot of depth and a style that was all his own.

The beloved Dr Seuss died on September 24, 1991, and he left behind a lot of his work. As the author was born in 1904, he was 87 years old when he passed away. Do you think that it was old age or disease?

It was said that Theodor died mostly because he couldn’t win his fight against cancer. Theodor died in peace at his home in the San Diego neighbourhood of La Jolla. His family scattered his ashes in the Pacific Ocean. In the 1980s, Seuss was diagnosed with oral cancer. He was able to beat it by having surgery.

Later, he got an infection in his jaw, which was the cause of his worsening health. Dr Seuss will never be replaced. Dr Seuss had been sick for a long time before he died. He lives on in the hearts of his fans through the cartoons he made and the books he wrote.

Honours Achieved By Dr Seuss

In 2002, in honour of Dr Seuss, a garden called the Dr Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden opened in Springfield. Several of his animated characters are in the garden.

In 2008, Dr Seuss was inducted into the California Hall of Fame. Google’s logo was changed for a short time in 2009 to honour Dr Seuss on his birthday.

He has won two Emmy Awards, two Academy Awards, a Peabody Award, and the Pulitzer Prize. Since Forbes magazine first came out, Dr Seuss has also been on the list of the highest-paid dead celebrities.
