Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir Had 45-minute Chat in Bengaluru; LSG Players Shocked With Fight in Lucknow: Report
After last week’s match between the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir got into a heated fight.
Kohli and Gambhir were both paid 100% of the match fee, but Naveen-ul-Haq was fined 50%. Both LSG and RCB won one of the two games they played against each other.
Even though it’s been seven days since the incident, the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) is still feeling the effects of when Indian cricket legends Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli got into a verbal fight during a match between the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on May 1 at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
After Kohli and Naveen-ul Haq got into a fight on the field, the fight continued during the post-game handshakes.
Gambhir came out to protect his players. Gambhir is the team’s coach, and he got into a heated argument with Kohli, which cricket fans all over the world heard about.
A report from Dainik Jagran said that LSG players were shocked to see the fight because Kohli, Gambhir, and LSG assistant coach Vijay Dahiya had talked for 45 minutes after the two teams played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru earlier in the event. The chat was said to be very healthy, so people were surprised when the two got into a fight.

The same story says that Gambhir was mad at Kohli for insulting Naveen ul-Haq so much, and after he was out, he tried to give him a good sendoff. When LSG starter Kyle Mayers was out for a golden duck, Kohli had some things to say to him.
RCB won the game by 18 runs, which was a huge blow to LSG. Not only did they lose, but KL Rahul got hurt during the game and had to be taken out of the season.
Earlier, LSG beat RCB by one wicket in a high-scoring game at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The game came down to the last ball, and it was a nail-biter.
