Spice and Wolf (kami to Kshinry-) was first written as a series of Japanese light novels by Isuna Hasekura. There are already 24 books out there. The anime story focuses on Kraft Lawrence, a 25-year-old wandering merchant with an ambition to one day collect enough money to set up his shop.

And he’s been on his journey for seven years, traveling and trading. One night, he meets a goddess-like wolf named “Holo,” who looks like a 15-year-old except for her wolf ears and tail.

She calls herself the Harvest Goddess. She feels abandoned by the locals, so she decides to go back to her home in the north. She makes a deal with Kraft to help him with his business in exchange for him taking her along on his journey. They make deals, visit many cities, face religious fanatics, and do a lot more.

Spice and Wolf Season 3 Potential Release Date

The official and confirmed date of when Spice and Wolf season 3 will come out hasn’t been announced yet, but we can expect it to come out around 2024. It could be a remake or a sequel, but one thing is for sure: something would happen.

What Will season 3 Contain? Expectations, Arcs, and Volumes

Since we don’t know when Spice and Wolf season 3 will come out or what it will be about, we can assume that the anime will continue to follow the storyline of the manga and light series.

The anime is based on the Spice and Wolf manga and light book series, which has already been published in 24 volumes. Volumes 1 and 2 were included in the first season. Season 2 was made up of books 3 and 5 and part of 7. Taking this into account, we can assume that season 3 will follow the next books in terms of how our main characters, Kraft Lawrence and Holo, live together, solve mysteries, and continue their trip stories.

Spice and Wolf Plotline

Craft Lawrence is a smart merchant who sells and trades goods all over the medieval world. He meets Horo, a 250-year-old wolf woman who is dressed like a human, while he is moving.

Horo convinces Lawrence to go with her to the north to find her relatives. The anime series tells the story of their journey and how their relationship grows as they face and beat many challenges.

Horo and Lawrence’s story is an exciting mix of adventure, mystery, and romance. Its unique plot and complicated characters keep people interested.

What Happened at the End of Spice and Wolf Season 2?

There are 12 shows in Spice and Wolf’s second season. We see Holov and Lawrence’s adventures, deals, and exchanges throughout the season. In the first few episodes of the season, Holo realizes she likes Lawrence and gets jealous of Amarti, another seller who is interested in her.

While they were talking about business plans, Eve surprised him by asking if he would like to sell Holo and use the money to buy fur.

This would make their money, which would be more than enough to buy Holo back and let him open his shop, which was his dream. Holo agreed, hoping that his dream would come true.

But when Holo is sold, things take a dramatic change. There is a rebellion, and Lawrence thinks Eve wants to scam him out of money so she can get back at the church.

Eve tells him she will kill him and then knocks him out. Maybe she still has some goodwill in her, so she lets Lawrence keep the inn and runs away.

Lawrence sells the inn to buy Holo back, and they have an emotional reunion, confession, and kiss. At the end of the season, Lawrence gives up his dream to stay with Holo and travel.
