The Witcher: Blood Origin Cast: Relationships, Ages, and Personalities

A fantasy miniseries called The Witcher: Blood Origin, created by Declan de Barra and Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, will soon be released. It is based on the same-named Andrzej Sapkowski book series. It will be accessible before the Netflix series. On December 25, 2022, the first of the four episodes of the season will debut.

Blood Origin will explain how the creation of the first Witcher and the “Conjunction of the Spheres” occurred 1,200 years before the events of the television series The Witcher. The final stages of the ancient Elven society will also be examined.

Michelle Yeoh

Michelle Yeoh Choo Kheng, a Malaysian actress, was born on August 6, 1962. She rose to fame in the 1990s as a result of her stunt work on several Hong Kong action movies, such as Holy Weapon (1990), Yes, Madam (1985), and Police Story 3: Supercop (1992). (1993). Her on-screen identity in her early Hong Kong films was Michelle Khan.

She received considerable praise for her performances in the martial arts film Hidden Dragon, Crouching Tiger (2000). For the latter performance, she received a Best Actress nomination at the BAFTAs.

Yeoh has appeared in a number of other movies, including Memoirs of a Geisha (2005), Kung Fu Panda 2, Reign of Assassins (2010), Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny (2016), and The Lady (2011), in which she played Aung San Suu Kyi. Later, in the romance comedies Crazy Rich Asians (2018) and Last Christmas (2019), as well as Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2021, she appeared in a supporting role.

Sophia Brown

Sophia Monique Brown (born 1991–1992) is a British actress who will appear in The Witcher: Blood Origin on Netflix in 2022 as well as Giri/Haji (2019), The Capture (2020), Marcella and Clique, among other projects (2018).

Brown was a native of Northampton. Along with studies in ballet, jazz, and modern dance, she completed her education at the Identity School of Acting in Brixton, the Arts Educational Schools in London, and the Ivana Chubbuck Studio. She has been performing with the Theo Adams Company since 2015.

Joey Batey

Sophia Monique Brown (born 1991–1992) is a British actress who will appear in The Witcher: Blood Origin on Netflix in 2022 as well as Giri/Haji (2019), The Capture (2020), Marcella and Clique, among other projects (2018).

Laurence O’Fuarain

Laurence O’Fuarain, an Irish actor, appeared in the motion pictures Vikings, Into the Badlands, and Game of Thrones Rebellion (2016). In the upcoming Netflix miniseries The Witcher: Blood Origin in 2022, he will play the warrior Fjall.

Laurence O’Fuarain studied advertising and marketing at the Institute of Technology, Tallaght. He was involved in the making of a few short films that he found enjoyable. After a successful audition for admittance to the Bow Street Academy, he took the choice to leave the ITT to concentrate on acting. O’Fuarain and Niamh Algar were classmates when they both earned screen acting diplomas from the Dublin-based Bow Street Academy in 2014.

Jacob Collins-Levy

Jacob Collins-Levy, an Australian actor, has appeared in the movies Young Wallander, The Liberator, True History of the Kelly Gang, and Glitch (2015). (2020). He attained his biggest recognition in The White Princess (2017), in which Jodie Comer portrayed Elizabeth of York, the wife of Henry VII.

Collins-Levy will play Eredin Bréacc Glas, the Red Riders’ leader, in The Witcher: Blood Origin, which will be released on Netflix on December 25, Christmas Day, 2022.

Mirren Mack

Princess Merwyn will be portrayed by Scottish actress Mirren Mack, who was born in 1997, in the upcoming Netflix miniseries The Witcher: Blood Origin in December 2022. She has also played Florence in Sex Education, Kaya in the BBC drama The Nest, and Queenie in the National Theatre production of Small Island in 2022.

Jodie Turner-Smith

On September 7, 1986, Jodie Turner-Smith, a British actress and model, was born. She has acted in movies including Without Remorse (2018), Queen & Slim (2019), Nightflyers (2018,) and The Last Ship (2017). (2021).

Turner-Smith, the only member of her family to be born outside of Jamaica, was born to Jamaican parents in Peterborough, England. She was born and raised in Peterborough, where she also spent her adolescence. After her parents’ divorce, she moved to Gaithersburg, Maryland, together with her brother, mother, and half-sister. Turner-Smith earned a degree in finance from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008 and now works for a bank. Since 2009, she has lived in Los Angeles.
