Paulini, whose real name is Paulini Curuenavuli, is a singer, songwriter, and musical theater star who was born in Fiji and grew up in Australia. She was born in Suva, Fiji, on October 15, 1982. Her family moved to Sydney, Australia, when she was four years old. Paulini got a lot of attention in 2003 when she took part in the first season of Australian Idol and came in fourth place. After doing well on the show, she got a deal with Sony BMG Australia to make a record.
Paulini’s first studio record, “One Determined Heart,” came out in 2004 and did very well in the marketplace. It went straight to number one on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified platinum.
