IPL 2023: KKR Name Johnson Charles as Replacement for Litton Das!
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have stated that West Indian international Johnson Charles will replace Bangladeshi international Litton Das in the IPL 2023.
Last week, Litton Das had to fly back to Bangladesh because of a family problem. He only played in one IPL game last month, which was against Delhi Capitals.
Who is Litton Das’ Replacement, Johnson Charles?
The West Indian wicketkeeper and batsman, who is 34 years old, is a good option for Das. He has played in 41 T20Is for the West Indies and got 971 runs. He has also played in 224 T20 games and got more than 5500 runs in those games.
Charles pays INR 50 lakhs to join the team from Kolkata.
How has KKR Performed in IPL 2023?
KKR is currently in eighth place, which is the bottom part of the league table. They have only won three of their nine games so far.

On Thursday in Hyderabad, KKR will play their 10th match of the season against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
