Modern technology gives us many things.

Emmanuelle Chriqui Learned Her Worth Beyond Looks on ‘entourage’

After the end of Entourage, Emmanuelle Chriqui took some time to consider her identity as a woman.

Chriqui, 48, shared exclusively with Us Weekly on Wednesday, July 31, while promoting her new film Boot Camp, “I had incredible success with Entourage, but the character was this woman who was idealized for her looks, style, and all of that. And as an actor, once Entourage ended, I had a realization that I am so much more than that.”

Throughout her seven seasons as a star on the HBO series, Chriqui admitted that her time there was “a gift and a blessing.” But the actress came to see that Sloan McQuewick, the character she played, was more than simply a lovely face.

“It never happens by chance. The roles we get to play and the facets of ourselves we get to see made public,” she acknowledged. “And I’m pretty sure that my personal experience helped me make it, hopefully, true.”

In the second season of Entourage, Kevin Connolly’s character Eric “E” Murphy first met Sloan, who was meant to be his love interest. Throughout the episode, their relationship was sporadic at best. On the other hand, Sloan and E’s happy ending in the 2011 movie came when they were married and had a daughter named Ryan.

Chriqui has starred in a number of other films after leaving Entourage, such as Superman & Lois, The Mentalist, and others. She is now appearing in Boot Camp with Rachel Boudwin, Rachel Boyd, Drew Ray Tanner, and other actors. Chriqui acknowledged that the uplifting message of the coming-of-age romantic comedy drew her in.

She clarified, “I’m a big supporter of women, girls, empowerment, and just trying to support each other.” “I believe that we are living in really trying times at the moment, and I believe that things have been going on like this for years. It is literally more crucial than ever to provide entertainment that makes you grin and feel good for a brief while.

Chriqui went on to say that she was “extremely appreciative” of the opportunity to contribute to “telling that story that can make someone feel good.” The actress from Snow Day hopes that people will keep in mind that women are powerful and capable of achieving anything they set their minds to.

She said to Us Weekly, “I just don’t think that girls know that, or do that enough.” But that, in my opinion, is everything. “I love myself on my worst day, I love myself on my best day, and everything in between,” the speaker said. That’s such a crucial lesson to learn as you navigate the world in all spheres of your life—relationships, career, everything. that no matter what, we ought to have authority.
