The game is also being made with the help of Todd Howard, who is the creative director at Bethesda Softworks and a lifelong fan of the Indiana Jones series. He has joined the project as an executive producer after finishing work on Starfield.

In between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set. It is an original story set in 1937. As a professor of history at Marshall College in Bedford, Connecticut, Dr. Jones knows that the game will start there. Marshall College is a famous American university and liberal arts college.

Following that, Indiana Jones will become interested in a new riddle and will have to search for answers all over the world, from the Vatican in Rome to the pyramids of Egypt to the Himalayas and more.

Microsoft has said that they have no plans to play the new Indiana Jones game on the PS5. During an Xbox Business Update, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer addressed rumors.

He said that some Xbox games will come to other platforms in the future, but Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark is not one of them.
