Gon, Killua, Leorio, and Kurapika attended the 287th Hunter Exam, where Bodoro competed in Hunter × Hunter. He was an old martial artist of honor. Bodoro had a strong moral code that forbade him from ever fighting a child, regardless of how strong they were.
He demonstrated his strength by making it to the Hunter Exam’s Fourth Phase. He moves on to the Final Phase after defeating Ryu. Hisoka defeats him in his first battle. He faces Leorio in his second battle, but Killua quickly stabs him in the back to end the fight before it starts.
Viewers were startled when Killua killed Bodoro in cold blood even though it was against the rules and she had no ill will against him.
The Childhood and Upbringing of Killua
It was assumed that Killua would inherit the family business from birth. Killua was raised by the Zoldyck family, who are incredibly talented assassins.
Because of his rigorous and extensive training, Killua is immune to the majority of poisons, tolerant of high voltages, capable of dealing a lethal blow with or without weapons, able to walk soundlessly, keep his mind sharp while he sleeps, and always thinks of a winning plan thanks to his extraordinary analytical thinking.

When he says that what he’s going through is nothing compared to what he went through back home, we get a glimpse of what he’s been through. How Killua and Illumi Are Related?
Illumi carries out his responsibilities as the oldest child, even if Killua is the family’s golden child. Although we don’t know what kind of teaching Illumi received as a child, we can observe the effects of it.
Illumi has a very matter-of-fact, self-centered mindset and is a cruel, cold person. In spite of this, he believes that everything he does for Killua is for her benefit and is fiercely protective of her. It’s a perverted kind of familial affection, and you have to wonder what Illumi endured to cause his thoughts to be so out of step with reality.
You can notice Killua start to perspire and appear anxious as soon as Illumi confronts her during the Hunter Exam. Following a brief conversation regarding his escape, Illumi informs Killua that he was bred to be a murderer.
Killua acknowledges that he doesn’t want to be a Hunter but that his real desire is to be friends with Gon when Illumi questions him about why he took the Hunter Exam.
This illustrates Killua’s long-suppressed longing to interact with others on a human level. Illumi reiterates this denial by claiming that Killua has a killer’s soul and doesn’t desire a friend. If he continues to be around Gon, he will eventually want to kill him.
This reminds Killua of all the times he was pleased to slay his opponents during the Hunter Exam. He begins to think that he is who he is because he found joy in their deaths.
In addition to making Killua think that he is a cold-hearted killer, Illumi uses manipulation to make him believe that this is who he will always be because it is how he has been shaped since birth.
Illumi is successful at emotionally tormenting his younger brother, regardless of whether he expects his speech will cause Killua to return home. Killua enters a trance and brutally murders Bodoro.
It’s likely that he simply regressed to this conduct out of bewilderment because it’s what he’s used to and what was always required of him prior to the Hunter Exam.
He disqualified himself from the Hunter Exam, killed an innocent guy, and broke the law. Illumi wanted him to perform all of these things.
What Led Killua to Kill Bodoro?
Why not kill someone else if Killua only intended to murder one? Killua doesn’t appear to hold a vendetta toward Bodoro in particular. Bodoro may have died as a result of his vow to never fight a youngster.
Because Bodoro was the first person available to kill and because killing him would disqualify Killua from the Hunter Exam, Killua targeted him. Interfering with a scheduled combat is prohibited.
Leorio, Killua’s companion, was the other combatant. Killing Leorio would have gone too far, even though Killua was out of it and did not fully comply with his brother’s order to have no friends. It was better to kill Bodoro because it would benefit Leorio.
Ultimately, Bodoro was merely a defenseless individual entangled in a mental conflict between two Zoldyck members. His death is all the more tragic because he couldn’t have predicted what was about to happen.
