The famous and renowned author of the “Dragon Ball” series, Akira Toriyama, died on March 1, 2024. He had been alive for 68 years.

He passed away from an acute subdural hematoma, which means my brain bled. A small funeral was held by his family to honor him and say goodbye in secret.

Family’s Request For Privacy

Toriyama’s family has asked for respect after this sad loss. They are not taking gifts, visits, presents, or requests for interviews.

But Toriyama’s own design and production company, Bird Company, has said that there will be an event in the future to honor his life and work.
