Steve Burns was born Steven Michael Burns in Boyertown, Pennsylvania, on October 9, 1973. He grew up with his mother Janet, father Joseph, and two older sisters, Jennifer and Karen. After leaving the U.S. Navy, Joseph worked as the director of human resources at Safeguard Business Systems. In 2015, he died of cancer.
