Lucky Hank Episode 1 Recap

However, this does not bother Hank nearly as much as it should. It is time for him to retire, but he continues to think about his father, a highly regarded library scholar.

The following day, he is still preoccupied with the same thoughts, prompting his wife Lily to attempt to diffuse the situation. However, their conversation is constantly interrupted by text messages from published news that appear on his phone.

Hank does not care in the least that students and faculty are disappointed in him and even ask him to apologize when he returns to school. Hank is a chair at this company and therefore cannot be terminated. The principal is also aware of this, and therefore cannot intervene.

As for Gracie, another professor at the school whose feelings Hank has hurt, she and the other teachers decide to remove Hank as a member of the committee.

On the other hand, we see that Lily has a job offer in New York City, and they may even be able to leave this place for a higher one.
