Jane’s husband of 26 years, Robert, her son Robert Jr., her daughter Jessica, her sisters Janet Gottsleben and Julie Rowe and their husbands, Mark and Greg, her brother John Engelbrecht and his wife, Lois, and her parents, John and Lorraine Engelbrecht, are the only people who will remember her.
The family had a wake at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home in Grosse Pointe Woods from 3 to 9 p.m. on Monday. The funeral home is at 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road. On Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., a funeral service for Jane was held at the Grosse Pointe Funeral Church, which is at 16 Lakeshore Road in Grosse Pointe Farms. Reverend Marianna Gronek led the service to celebrate Jane’s life and remember her.

Who Killed Jane Bashara?
