Jaguar Wright is an American R&B and neo-soul singer, songwriter, and narrator who was born on May 17, 1977. She is a member of the Okayplayer group.
Wright has collaborated and performed with rap groups including The Roots, Jay-Z, and Blackalicious. She was born and raised in New Jersey until she moved to Philadelphia when she was approximately 12 years old.

In a video that has been circulating online since Saturday, January 14, a person thought to be Jaguar is seen being placed on a stretcher surrounded by police officers.
While her husband, who shot the footage, claimed that she assaulted him at the barbershop, she can be heard screaming.
It is unclear what caused the initial altercation, but Jaguar’s husband refuted her claims that he pulled a pistol.
Upon her arrest, he remarked, “She brought this upon herself.” Adding that he still loves her anyway, he stated, “You guys pray for her. Please intercede for her! Please pray for us!”

She asserted that the hip-hop entrepreneur was involved in the murder of Big L, a renowned New York rapper who was Jay-major Z’s adversary in the music industry.
She further claimed Big L’s killing was an “Illuminati sacrifice” in which Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and her mother participated.
Nonetheless, Jaguar is not a stranger to making weird remarks. In 2020, she accused rapper/actor Common of sexually abusing her, which he subsequently denied.
He said at the moment, “God bless, Jaguar.” “I have absolutely no unfavourable views about her. Because everything she stated about me was false, I was undoubtedly upset and wounded by her remarks.
