A very happy Monday to you all! And I hope that Halloween is fun for everyone who celebrates it. Please accept my apologies for not being able to provide any hints or solutions for yesterday’s round of Quordle; however, I will be providing both for today’s set of words.
The following instructions apply if you have never participated in this activity before: To play Quordle, you only need to start typing in different words. You have nine chances to predict each of the four five-letter words, and each attempt costs one point. The problem here is that you have to play all four words simultaneously.
It will turn green after you have successfully placed a letter in the correct location for one of the four words. If a word contains a letter that you have guessed, but that letter is placed in the incorrect position, that word will be shown in yellow. After using a letter in a guess, you will be able to see on the keyboard whether that letter is present in any of the words. You are free to check out the practise games whenever you like before getting started on the daily puzzle as well.
Quordle Prompts for October 31
- Word 1 (top left) clue – a usually lazy person or an unpowered pulley guiding a belt or rope or adding tension.
- Word 2 (top right) clue – a ship’s parking lot at a wharf or dock.
- Word 3 (bottom left) clue – a path around a celestial body, like that of the moon around the earth
- Word 4 (bottom right) clue – a game you could play with a dog and a ball
- There are no words with double letters
