Early Life of Angelica Hale
Angelica Hale was born on July 31, 2007, in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States. Her father was James Hale and her mother was Eva Bolando.
She was the first child that they had. She did not grow up to be a healthy child. When Hale was very young, she was told she had a disease that could kill her.
She was only 4 years old when she got very sick with bacteria and went into septic shock. It also caused many of her organs to stop working, so her kidneys and right lungs are always on guard.

Angelica ended up having to be put into a coma by doctors and put on ECMO life support. She got better after 12 days of ECMO, but she had to stay in the hospital for 80 more days to get better.
After she was released in 2012, she went back to dialysis for another year and a half. The very next year, her mother Eva gave her a kidney, and she got a transplant that saved her life.
After she got better, she started taking singing lessons with Tara Simon, her local coach in Alpharetta, so she could start competing in singing contests.
