Angaleena Presley was born on July 28, 1974, in the town of Glasgow, Kentucky. Her father was a miner, and her mother took care of the house. She has two sisters, and she is the oldest.
Elvis Presley’s music was influenced by country artists like Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Hank Williams Jr., and others. She is one of the three country singers who make up the Pistol Annies.
Pistol Annies is a magical musical force that combines perfect harmonies with flawless composition and an authentically female point of view that goes from weak and sad to angry and strong in the same song.

This is what Angaleena calls an “F-you record,” and she’s right. She knew that either her records would go to the top of the charts and let her fly, or she would get a lot of harsh criticism. It’s a unique record, both in terms of how it sounds and what it’s about. But it is still clearly country music.
Wrangled is really Angaleena’s way of letting go of her broken dreams from her time in the music business and elsewhere. “Dreams Don’t Come True,” which she wrote with the other Pistol Annies, sets the standard for how the normal human experience is usually summed up: when you’re young, you dream big, and when you’re old, you settle for less.
Early life and Struggles
Still, Presley was an angry teenager in the 1990s. During her grunge phase, she stole her father’s flannel clothes. When she was 15, her father taught her how to play “Mama Tried” by Merle Haggard on his guitar. After going to Eastern Kentucky University to study psychology and women’s studies, Presley was the first person in her family to move away.

Then, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to try to get a job in country music. She spent a few years of her struggling career as a songwriter in Nashville trying to get hitmakers to listen to her songs.
Self-taught in the basics of home recording, she tried out the rhythmic possibilities of light flicks and frying-pan noises.
This gave her music a rough, collage-like look. After nine months of hard work, she finally got a deal with a publishing company.
Big Break
In 2011, when she joined the country music duo Pistol Annies, Angaleena got her big break. The group’s first album, Hell on Heel, was given a platinum rating by the Recording Industry Association of America.
American Middle Class, Presley’s first album as a solo artist, came out in 2014. “Ain’t No Queen,” the album’s first single, reached No. 54 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.

Elvis allegedly had an affair with Gladys Love Smith, who married Vernon Presley. Gladys and Vernon’s son Elvis. Elvis and Angaleena may be second cousins.
