Pokemon GO says that an upcoming event will add a new shiny Fairy-type Pokemon and other fun things for players to do.
Shiny Cutiefly will be available for the first time in Pokemon GO’s new event, Dazzling Dream. In January 2024, Pokemon GO had even more content for players to enjoy after a busy year of adding new Pokemon and game features.
For the first event of the new year, Pokemon GO held a special event. For January’s Community Day, Rowlet will be available, and for January’s Community Day Classic, Porygon will be available.
Niantic added Dusk Form Lycanroc and will add Hisuian Typhlosion on the next Raid Day. This means that all Sinnoh starters can now be found in Pokemon GO in their Hisui forms.
There is good news for Pokemon GO players who want to add more Fairy-type Pokemon to their collections, though. A new event with Fairy-type Pokemon and a shiny new Pokemon have been announced.
As Niantic has said, Shiny Cutiefly will be added to Pokemon GO during the Dazzling Dream event, which runs from January 13 at 10 a.m. to January 16 at 8 p.m. local time.
Trainers will see the pre-evolution Ribombee in the wild during this time, along with Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Marill, Snubbull, Cottonee, Spritzee, Swirlix, Dedenne, Morelull, and Togetic.
The second one will get people’s attention because Togetic is hard to catch in Pokemon GO because it only appears once in a while. Flabebe will also show up at the event.
Trainers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa will find red Flabebe, players in the Asia-Pacific region will find blue Flabebe, and trainers in the Americas will see yellow Flabebe.
Trainers in Pokemon GO will always have the chance to see the orange and white Flabebe, which are two rare types of Gen 6 Pokemon.

When Is The Pokemon GO Dazzling Dream Event?
- It starts on Saturday, January 13 at 10 a.m. and ends on Tuesday, January 16 at 8 p.m.
- Shiny Cutiefly is a new Pokemon.
People who play Pokemon GO can hatch Togepi, Spritzee, Swirlix, and Cutiefly eggs every 7 km. They can also find Alolan Vulpix, Spritzee, Swirlix, Cutiefly, Mawile, and Carbink as rewards for doing Field Research jobs. Mega Gardevoir and Mega Altaria will get Mega Energy in Pokemon GO.
Completing Collection Challenges will earn you XP, Stardust, and a chance to meet Carbink, the Pokemon that made its debut with Mega Diancie last year.
There will be limited paid research that gives you two Premium Battle Passes, XP, Stardust, two Star Pieces, and the chance to meet event-themed Pokemon.
During the Dazzling Dream event, you can catch and hatch Pokemon and get twice as much Stardust. There will also be a new item for your avatar in the game store.
The 13th season of Pokemon GO began in December and is set in the Hisui area. January is the second month of that season. The new year has just started, and fun events have already been planned. Pokemon GO players have a lot to look forward to in the months to come.
