Why Chlo Grace Moretz Was Never the Same After That Family Guy Meme.
Despite being only 25 years old, actress Chloe Grace Moretz has been a mainstay in the film and television industries for a considerable amount of time. Moretz began her career as an actress in 2004 and has since acted in a number of television shows, including “My Name Is Earl” and “Desperate Housewives,” but she is best known for her part in the romantic comedy “500 Days of Summer,” which was released in 2009.
She received a new level of appreciation for her work in the superhero parody “Kick-Ass” and the vampire remake “Let Me In,” both of which were released in the year 2010. Her most recent roles were in the live-action/animation hybrid comedy “Tom and Jerry,” as well as the science fiction feature “Mother/Android,” which was available on Hulu.
Moretz, on the other hand, has not had an easy time dealing with the demands that come with being a kid star. She has previously discussed how producers in Hollywood have attempted to censor her opinions, and despite her age, she has been targeted by both members of the general public and celebrities. She has also discussed how she has been harassed by both groups. In addition to her recent misfortunes, she has been the target of criticism from the Kardashian family.
Moretz has discussed in greater detail in a recent interview the challenges she faced as a child while growing up in the public spotlight, in particular with regard to her representation in the cartoon sitcom “Family Guy” which airs on Fox. What follows is what she had to say about it.
Moretz Did Not Enjoy Her Body Being Made Into a Joke
Chloe Grace Moretz discussed the way in which the memes that were created about her physique changed the way that she saw herself in an interview with Hunger. She drew attention to a specific photograph that had been taken of her, in which she can be seen checking into a hotel shortly after having some pizza.
The image eventually made its way to the set of “Family Guy,” where the writers of the show re-created Moretz with exaggerated dimensions, specifically large legs and a small torso. They used this as the basis for a joke about the actress. The widespread dissemination of the image from “Family Guy” caused problems for Moretz, as she continued to feel uneasy about the fact that the joke was centred on her figure.
“I just remember sitting there and thinking, my body is being used as a joke and it’s something that I can’t alter about who I am, and it is being broadcast all over Instagram,” Moretz said. “It was something as innocuous as coming into a hotel with leftovers.” [Citation needed]
Moretz’s problems were made worse by the fact that it appeared as though no one else viewed the picture in the same manner that she did. When I mentioned it to someone, they said something to the effect of, “Oh, shut the f**k up, it’s amusing.” Moretz said, coming to the conclusion that the way in which her concerns were dismissed made it more difficult for her to get over the problem that the meme presented. She eventually decided to seek counselling to assist her in working through these issues.
