Who Is Simon In Dungeons & Dragons? We are all aware that Dungeons & Dragons has always been a story about how adventurers from all backgrounds unite to achieve a common objective.
This holds true for the live-action film Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, which is based on D&D legend. One of the most notable characters in the film is Simon Aumar, one of the group’s more unusual adventures. Who then is Simon?
Who Is Simon In Dungeons & Dragons?
Simon is a half-elf sorcerer and the resident wizard of the Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves adventuring party.
He is also the great-great-grandson of the famed wizard Elminster Aumar. In contrast to his ancestor, Simon lacks the self-assurance that would have made him a formidable wizard.
Simon’s lack of self-confidence was one of the issues he needed to confront in the film, despite the fact that he is capable of quite useful magical spells.
Simon had a low sense of self-worth, lacked confidence, and was tormented with self-doubt. He cared about and dreaded what others thought of him, therefore he frequently made self-deprecating remarks, arguing that it was preferable to do so before others could. Despite this, he performed admirably under pressure.
He was in possession of an assortment of magical objects, including a bag of holding and two pairs of sending stones. He also possessed a deathly token bearing Kelemvor’s holy sign, allowing him to communicate with the dead.
Eventually, he would acquire the famous Helmet of Disjunction, which could induce a disjunction effect that would destroy all magic, as well as a Hither-Thither Staff from Holga, which could create linked portals.
He was skilled with a quarterstaff. He has a mechanical pouch that could manufacture the necessary material components for a spell on command.
