Who Is Simon In Dungeons & Dragons?

Simon is a half-elf sorcerer and the resident wizard of the Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves adventuring party.

He is also the great-great-grandson of the famed wizard Elminster Aumar. In contrast to his ancestor, Simon lacks the self-assurance that would have made him a formidable wizard.

Simon’s lack of self-confidence was one of the issues he needed to confront in the film, despite the fact that he is capable of quite useful magical spells.

Simon had a low sense of self-worth, lacked confidence, and was tormented with self-doubt. He cared about and dreaded what others thought of him, therefore he frequently made self-deprecating remarks, arguing that it was preferable to do so before others could.  Despite this, he performed admirably under pressure.
