Stream Takeoff & Quavo’s Album “Only Built for Infinity Links” Now.

Summer Walker, Young Thug, Gunna, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again are among the artists who contributed to this compilation, which was issued through Quality Control Music and Motown Records.

The record that Quavo and Takeoff created together and titled Only Built for Infinity Links has finally been released. After releasing four singles, “Hotel Lobby,” “Big Stunna” with Birdman, “Us Vs. Them” with Gucci Mane, and most recently, “Nothing Changed,” the project was finally made available for purchase through Quality Control Music/Motown Records.

The album consists of 18 tracks and has guest appearances from artists such as Summer Walker, Young Thug, Gunna, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and Mustard in addition to its songs.

Takeoff said to Complex that the title was influenced by Raekwon’s solo debut album from 1995, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…, and that it had even obtained the official stamp of approval from the Wu-Tang Clan veteran.

The uncle-and-nephew duo, who are also billed as Unc and Phew, worked on the project for two years. They modelled elements of the cover art on iconic rap pairs Kanye West and Jay-Z circa Watch the Throne and Outkast, while the title itself speaks to their own unbreakable bond and possibly rumours that the Migos were breaking up earlier this year.

Suspicions began to surface after Cardi B and her husband Offset stopped following the other members of Migos, and in August, a contentious lawsuit broke out between Offset and Quality Control Music regarding ownership of his solo music. At the centre of the dispute was whether or not Offset should receive royalties for his solo work. Offset is doing his own thing, releasing singles like “Code” and “54321,” while cousin Takeoff and uncle Quavo have branched off on their own for this new chapter. Despite the fact that none of the three have confirmed an official breakup, there is a clear hiatus. Offset is the only one of the three who has been doing so.

In honour of the album’s debut, Quavo and Takeoff threw a huge listening party in Atlanta on Tuesday and performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon the following night.
