Sage Stallone Cause of Death Was a Heart Attack, Not Drugs!
Sage Stallone, the 36-year-old son of actor Sylvester Stallone, died July 13, 2012, of atherosclerosis, which caused a heart attack, according to a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County coroner. Stallone was discovered dead in his Los Angeles home on July 13 by his maid, who had been requested to check on him by Stallone’s mother.
According to Lt. Fred Corral of the coroner’s office, the only substance detected in Stallone’s body was an over-the-counter Tylenol-style pain medicine. Corral said Stallone’s family was recently alerted of the results, which will be documented in a thorough autopsy report that will be made public next week.
Sylvester Stallone issued a public plea to stop “speculation and questionable reporting” regarding his son’s drug use. Because there is no greater anguish than when a parent loses a kid, Stallone stated.”
As a result, I’m pleading with everyone to honor the memory of my incredibly gifted kid and to have mercy on his devoted mother, Sasha, because this excruciating loss will be felt for the rest of our lives. Sage was the center of our existence and our first kid. I respectfully ask that Sage’s memory and spirit be respected by everybody.
Sudden celebrity deaths in Hollywood sometimes spark early conjecture about drug participation, but in several recent cases, the cause of death was determined to be natural.
The coroner eventually found that, while the inquiry into actor Corey Haim’s death two years ago began as a “suspected prescription medication overdose,” toxicology tests “revealed no significant contributing factors” from narcotics. Haim died of pneumonia, not drug overdose.
Following the death of actress Brittany Murphy in December 2009, there was similar suspicion concerning drug usage. Murphy died as a result of a combination of pneumonia, iron insufficiency, and various drug poisoning, according to the coroner. According to the postmortem report, the medications involved are lawful and are used to treat respiratory infections.
At the time of his death, Stallone was engaged to be married and working on multiple film projects. He appeared in various films, including “Daylight” and “Rocky V” alongside his father. Stallone Jr. also co-founded Grindhouse Releasing, a firm “dedicated to the restoration and preservation of motion pictures historically held in very low regard.”

Also, Sage Stallone’s mother implored him not to undertake extensive dental surgery weeks before he died. Sasha Czack, the first wife of actor Sylvester Stallone, told the New York Post that her 36-year-old son was on painkillers at the time of his demise following the extraction of five teeth. The extractions occurred two weeks before he was discovered deceased in his residence in the Los Angeles area on Friday.
Czack told the Post that she advised him not to undergo surgery, stating, “I told him not to do that.” I’ve heard of individuals who died after receiving multiple dental procedures. Have no more than one tooth extracted?” She responded, “Wouldn’t you be?” when asked if he was taking analgesics after the surgery.
