Romantic Killer Season 2: Who Is The Spoilers?
We’ve all been waiting for this moment, and it’s finally here! Our favorite princess of the couch is back! The author of Romantic Killer, Wataru Momose, gives us a fresh new take on female leads in this funny and romantic comedy. Since the manga ended in 2020, Netflix took over the anime version of the series and started airing it in August 2022.
The anime, which had a total of 12 episodes, was liked by the public and helped make both the show and the “Otome game” plot more popular. Due to popular demand, Season 2 of Romantic Killer will be back on Netflix very soon, so stay tuned for the latest news.
“Maiden games,” which are also called “Otome games,” are story-based video games aimed at women. The main goal of these games is to make the player fall in love with the male character in the game.
In this type of anime, the main female character usually has more than one guy she likes. This gives the audience the freedom to choose which guy she likes. Most of these end up with a fairy tale plot, which is like the icing on the cake.
Romantic Killer is just one example of a story with a plot that fits into the reverse harem genre and has heart-stopping moments. Anime like Diabolik Lovers, Utano Prince-sama, and My Next Life as a Villainess: All Roads Lead to Doom are like “otome game” stories. that is something you should look into if you like Romantic Killer.
Romantic Killer is a fun and heartwarming anime that is enjoyable all around. This romantic comedy is great in every way, from the story to the animation. It can be read in one sitting because the main character, a woman, is involved in a lot of interesting events and situations.
Recap of Season 1 Spoilers
Anzu Hoshino, the main character we love, doesn’t want to add romance to her life. She only has a love for three things: video games, chocolate, and her cat, Momohiki.
Romantic Killer gets people’s attention with its magical plot and Hoshino’s exciting and funny journey to find love. As this “anti-heroine” goes through the process, a series of events brings the protagonist and the people watching her closer together.
In the first season, Anzu meets Riri, a love matchmaker, while playing an Otome game. She then becomes a test subject for a real-life dating harem. She has to give up three of her favorite things so she can focus on making a love life for herself. Tsukasa Kazuki, the most popular guy in school, is Hoshino’s first love interest, and Riri is determined to set them up.
Riri, a small creature that looks like a wizard, follows Anzu around and throws good-looking guys her way in the hopes of making them fall in love. Some people would call this a dream come true. But for Anzu, this was the worst thing that could happen.
She had no interest in any of the guys Riri tried to set her up with, so she didn’t pursue them. She wasn’t going to let a wizard make her love life into a dating game.
But as the show goes on, Hoshino and the people she likes get to know each other better. Their different quirks and ways of dealing with Anzu, Tsukasa, Junta, and Hijiri make viewers like at least one of them, if not all of them. Focusing on building a relationship between Anzu and the boys helps the show feel real, even though the setting isn’t.
At the end of Season 1, Anzu is given an ultimatum: she has to choose her romantic partner before the end of high school, or she will have to give up her favorite things, like video games, chocolate, and Momohiki, for good. The way their relationship with Anzu changes keeps us on the edge of our seats. Who will she choose?
