Who is Rhod Gilbert?
Rhodri Paul Gilbert was born in Wales on October 18, 1968. He is a comedian and radio host. In 2005, he was nominated for the Perrier Best Newcomer Award, and in 2008, he was nominated for the Edinburgh Comic Awards, which was the main comic award at the time.
Gilbert is often on TV and radio talk shows, and he has also done stand-up comedy on the Royal Variety Performance.
He had a weekly show on BBC Radio Wales, and in September 2014, after five series with no regular host, he started hosting the BBC Two panel show Never Mind the Buzzcocks. But in the end, the show stopped in May 2015.

In July, the 54-year-old star of “Never Mind the Buzzcocks” said that he had cancer and would be getting treatment at Velindre Cancer Centre, where he is also a supporter and helps raise money. Rhod’s wife, Sian, wrote on Twitter that Rhod had been taken to the hospital, but she didn’t say why.
She was upset that people in the hospital’s A&E weren’t wearing masks even though the sign said they should. Rhod thanked everyone for helping him and said he would focus on his health and not say anything else.
Since he was diagnosed with cancer, Rhod has been getting chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and surgery at the hospital. He recently said that he was “happy, upbeat, and optimistic.”
What Kind of Cancer Does Rhod Gilbert Have?
Rhod Gilbert, a comedian, said that he is “coming back” to his old self now that he is getting treatment for head and neck cancer. He was first identified with head and neck cancer in July. Gilbert had stage four cancer and was getting treatment at the Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff, where he has been a fundraising patron for ten years.
Gilbert said in a pre-recorded video message for Channel 4’s The National Comedy Awards for Stand Up To Cancer that he was identified with cancer after having symptoms like a sore throat, face spasms, and tight muscles. He had surgery and was given radiotherapy and chemotherapy every day.
Gilbert said that his facial hair was coming back, his voice was back to normal, and he was gaining weight. Even though he had to put off some live shows because he needed more surgery for gallstones and repeated gallbladder infections, Gilbert is still positive and is looking forward to leading a fundraising trek to the highest point in North Africa, Mount Toubkal in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, in October.

Since being diagnosed, the Welsh comedian has had chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery. He said that he feels better overall and is getting better day by day. He plans to keep doing what his doctor tells him to do before going back to work.
Gilbert also said that some days he feels well enough to write, and he has a feeling that there will be a show in it when he is completely better.
