Jusetsu has to leave her castle for the first time to do what the young Emperor asked. She can’t stand it when Ka Koushun comes over all the time; it drives her crazy.

She remembers what the previous queen taught her: the Raven Consort will always be alone and never want anything. Jiujiu is a young court girl who is naturally curious, and Jusetsu asks her to be her only servant. This is the first of many links she makes.

They start to do what the people in the house tell them to do together. However, the outside world is full of unknown threats, and if Jusetsu makes a scene, she may have to face her past, which she would rather not do.
