Who is Pat Robertson?

Pat Robertson is an American television mogul, religious broadcaster, and former Southern Baptist minister. He is known for promoting conservative Christian ideas and being involved in Republican party politics.

He is part of the Charismatic Movement in Protestant evangelicalism and is the CEO of Regent University and head of the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN).

Even though Robertson originally wanted to work in business, he finished near the top of his class at Yale Law School in 1955.

But he failed the New York bar test, which he didn’t think was a big deal because he never wanted to be a lawyer and already had a job with a big Wall Street company.

During a dinner with WWII soldier and author Cornelius Vanderbreggen, Pat Robertson had a spiritual awakening that led him to become a Christian. After he became a Christian, he gave up his successful job in business and went into preaching.

Robertson also said that he thinks an asteroid strike is the only thing that will make Jesus’s words come true. He said that this sudden destruction would not be caused by a nuclear war, because people would not be allowed to destroy the earth.
