Who Is Naruto?
Naruto Uzumaki is the main character of the manga Naruto, which was developed by Masashi Kishimoto. He is a young ninja from the fictitious hamlet of Konohagakure as the series proceeds (Hidden Leaf Village).
Is Naruto Really Dead in Boruto Manga?
The opening scene of Boruto, in which an older Boruto and Kawaki are engaged in a battle that appears to have destroyed the Hidden Leaf, does hint at Naruto’s potential demise.
In one moment, Kawaki says, “I’ll send you where I sent the Seventh Hokage, Boruto,” implying that in this reality, Naruto is not dead but simply elsewhere.
Despite the fact that this could be construed as Kawaki being confusingly unclear and equivocal about sending Naruto to the afterlife, the evidence against this theory is overwhelming.
Kawaki views Naruto as the father he always wished he had, and he has stated on numerous occasions that he does not wish for Naruto to be injured or killed. Nevertheless, he has repeatedly risked his life to save Naruto, thus it is difficult to believe that Kawaki would kill him.
The fact that even without Kurama, Naruto is still fairly powerful is another point to consider. With his vast chakra stores, chakra from the other Tailed Beasts, and Six Paths Sage Mode, Naruto is still one of the world’s greatest shinobi, albeit not as powerful as he once was.

Although it’s unlikely he’ll be able to take on Otsutsuki-level dangers as before, he can still accomplish a great deal to defend the Hidden Leaf Village against them.
Overall, there is significantly more evidence to support Naruto’s survival over the long term. With a large amount of remaining shinobi strength and Kawaki’s dedication to protecting Naruto, he is relatively secure from death—at least for the time being.
Code is the only known big threat to him, but with Kawaki and Boruto attaining control and mastery of their own talents, Naruto has significantly less to worry about.
