Jeremy Renner Shares Recovery Update After Snowplow Accident!

Jeremy Renner is getting better after he broke more than 30 bones in a sled accident earlier this year.

Even though he broke his tibia in the lower part of his leg, the 53-year-old Marvel actor posted a workout video of his leg movements.

Don’t tell his physical trainer, though. Renner posted the video on Instagram with the caption, “I’ve decided to push through the pain of progress (this damn broken tibia) and give the new parts a tiny test drive.” He also wrote, “The body is miraculous.”

“Even though I feel like the Tin Man and need oil for all my new joints (hips, knees, ankles, tibia, etc.),” he said, “I’m encouraged to keep going (don’t tell my PT) after this warm-up.”

In another post, Renner shared a film of him learning to walk again after the accident on his Nevada property on New Year’s Day that almost killed him.

My PT made this as a reminder that you can’t walk without taking one step at a time,” he wrote in the video’s comments.

In January, a truck ran over Renner, crushing him. He was hurt in his chest and his bones. He was using the plow, which weighed at least 14,330 pounds, to help his nephew, whose car was stuck in the snow and needed help. The sheriff’s office said that when he got out of the car to talk to him, it started to slide and ran him over.

The star had surgery to fix his injuries. After two weeks, he was released from the hospital and has been going to physical therapy with a positive attitude.

In an interview with Diane Sawyer last month, a teary-eyed Renner said that after the scary event, he wrote a goodbye note to his family from the hospital. Renner said, “If I had been there by myself, that would have been a horrible way to die.” “And of course, I would have. Surely.”

When he was in the hospital and in very bad shape, he said, “I’m writing notes in my phone. These are my last words to my family.”

The star said that he was “awake all the time” and that he “chose to live.” “It’s not gonna kill me. “No way,” Renner said, adding that he would “do it again” to save his family. “I’ve lost a lot of muscle and bone because of this, but love and titanium have helped me get back on my feet.”
