The series was later renamed Zoey 101, and Spears played Zoey Brooks. The show revolved around Zoey and her pals at Pacific Coast Academy, a fictitious boarding school (PCA).
Spears recorded “Follow Me,” the series theme song penned by her sister Britney Spears. The series, which was shot at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, began on January 9, 2005, and was the network’s highest-rated series premiere in over eight years.
