IPL 2023 Auction
At the IPL 2023 Player Auction in Kochi, Kerala, INR 1,670,000,000 was spent on 80 players by the ten teams as a whole. The all-rounders, who were in high demand, took up most of the space at the sale.
Even before his name was called, English all-rounder Sam Curran was the talk of the town. He broke an all-time record and became the most expensive player in the history of IPL sales.
