Yes, I was a huge fan of the first one, but I loved this new version even more. In my opinion, the best season so far is 2. It’s got more energy and humour than the first Gossip Girl did. The addition of Georgina and Eleanor to the cast’s return is the cherry on top.
There are fewer covert, annoying family drama complaints from companies with this new GG as well. Although I think the actors look terrible in comparison to the original series, I still enjoy watching this new adaptation. They all play their parts well, but Julien is the only truly outstanding performer. Let’s all try to be truthful.
The adults in the film give stellar performances, but the “teens” are uniformly bad. They could have found more qualified candidates. This new story has a different primary goal than the old one. distinct and different in major ways.
