After the completion of the filming of the popular romantic genre film, “Fifty Shades of Grey,” the lead character of the movie, Jamie Dornan, and costar Dakota Johnson are still kept in touch.
Dornan, 42, told at the Into Film Awards on Monday, July 1, “I was just texting with her a couple days ago. I think she’s London bound a wee bit over the next few weeks, so [I’m] trying to see her and [fiancé] Chris [Martin] for dinner.”

From 2015 to 2018, he started working with Dakota Johnson in all three sequels of the Fifty Shades franchise. Many individuals find their genuine friendship bond shocking so they are speculating and spreading rumors on social media platforms.
Despite all the baseless rumors and false assumptions of people, Johnson revealed that during the filming of the movies, there was never a time when they did not get along.
She said, “I know it’s weird, but he’s like a brother to me. I love him so, so, so much. And we were really there for each other. We had to really trust each other and protect each other.”

She added, “We were doing the weirdest things for years, and we needed to be a team: ‘We’re not doing that,’ or ‘You can’t do that camera angle.’ Sam [Taylor-Johnson] didn’t come back to direct after the first movie, and, as a female, she had brought a softer perspective.”
During the production of the film, she disclosed that she and he were treated really nicely by everyone and she is grateful for involving in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” in all three installments.
For his part in the film released in 2015, Dorman refused to argue and simply said, “Look, people are going to say that because it’s a story and people like to create a little bit of hype leading up to the film.”

He continued, “It’s an obvious story to come up with, you know, if I was into the world of coming up with fake stories I’d maybe start to do that on a blog.”
After completing the third movie, the former co-stars have enjoyed looking back on their experiences in the steamy series. In 2020, during the “Would You Rather?” segment on Stir Crazy With Josh Horowitz, Johnson was asked to choose between Dornan and his Fifty Shades character, Christian Grey.
Josh Horowitz, the host of the show, asked Johnson if she would prefer to join an erotic reading club with Dornan or his fictional counterpart during the broadcast.
