Is Iván Dead in Elite? Who Runs Over Him?
Ari finds out she is expecting Iván’s child at Isadora’s pub on a Venetian carnival night. She leaves the pub in shock and leaves without talking to her friends or siblings. Even though her sister is almost unconscious, Mencía, who has been poisoned by Raúl, pursues her.
She discovers that the car’s front glass is half broken when she wakes up. Mencía thinks she is the one who ran over her brother’s boyfriend, but Ari contacts her and informs her that Iván was hit by an unidentified car. But it’s Sara who actually runs Iván over.
When Sara meets Mencía, she discovers that her friend is ill when she leaves the pub without even being able to stand up straight. Sara receives the key to Patrick’s automobile from Mencía, who informs her that Ari is ill.
Mencía, who is ill, sits next to Sara while she drives. Sara loses control of the vehicle while attempting to check in on Mencía, and Iván is struck by the same. Startled, she reaches out to Raúl, who carries Mencía to the driver’s seat after cleaning the car to remove Sara’s fingerprints.
Raúl persuades Sara that they are doing appropriately because, in contrast to Sara, Mencía comes from a powerful and affluent family that can handle the complexities of the same.
One person who thrives as a social media influencer is Sara. The last thing Iván wants is for the world to know that she killed someone, should she pass away. She worries that the truth may cause her to lose a significant number of supporters, which will make it harder for her to survive.
If Iván survives the accident, Sara also wants to avoid the legal struggle against him because he has the money and power to ruin her life. She agrees to Raúl’s plan because she thinks Iván will forgive Mencía because she is his boyfriend’s sister, but not her.
Iván survives, despite the worst being feared by his friends and acquaintances. During the window of hope, Patrick is able to transport him to a hospital. By performing surgery, the doctors save Iván from dying instantly.
Iván’s chances of dying are very low, but they don’t guarantee Patrick, Ari, and Mencía that he will live in the end. It can be interpreted as a favorable sign that Iván will probably avoid death when he regains consciousness towards the end and calls for Patrick.
Why Do Mencía, Patrick, and Ari Leave Madrid?
Ari views Mencía’s admission that she ran Iván over as the last straw in their terrible life in Madrid.
In search of a new beginning, Benjamín and his kids travel to Madrid. However, the action sets the stage for Samu’s death, Mencía’s belief that she almost killed her brother’s lover, Ari’s near-death experience and unintended pregnancy, and Mencía being beaten by Armando de la Ossa.
From Ari’s perspective, she understands that they must flee to a location where they won’t have to cope with the horrors.
Ari must have come to the realization that she could not live with Iván after she aborted his child. Ari squanders his opportunity with Nico, and she doesn’t want her sister Mencía to be convicted for murder in the event that Iván passes away.
She is aware that her sister is not strong enough to conceal the fact that, in Mencía’s opinion, she ran Iván over, which could land her in jail. Ari isn’t prepared to part with her brother and sister, the only things she has left in the world.
Additionally, she doesn’t want Patrick to sustain injuries again and over again in the event that Iván survives. She thus forces her family to flee the city where she and her siblings endured a great deal of suffering.
Ari, Mencía, and Patrick might not be able to permanently leave Madrid, though. It is obvious that Iván would attempt to get back in touch with his lover since he regains consciousness and begins to inquire for Patrick.
Patrick might return to Madrid right away to be with Iván if he finds out that he is still alive. Mencía and Ari might not want to be apart from their brother either.
