Didier Deschamps, who is in charge of the French national team, offered his thoughts on the situation with Rafael Varane, who is a central defender for Manchester United.
According to Sport Witness, Didier Deschamps is hopeful that his starting defender will be healthy enough to play for Les Bleus in their opening match of the tournament.
Since Varan limped to Stamford Bridge in tears a month ago, the subject of whether or not he would make the World Cup squad has taken on an entirely new appearance.
However, the injury did not turn out to be as bad as was initially thought, and Deschamps has announced that he anticipates Varane will be able to play in France’s opening match in Group D against Australia.

The French manager then made the announcement that Varane had resumed his training, but that he still had a few more things to accomplish before he could consider himself to be completely fit.
“He is following his procedure. He has been working out more frequently now. Once more, he had contact with the ball. He is going to do it once again today. The manager said, “Before Thursday, he still needs to complete a few more steps.”
