Is CSI: Vegas Season 3 Release Date ‘CONFIRMED’ by CBS or Not?

CSI: Vegas Season 3 Release Date

CSI: Vegas is a CBS crime drama television series that premiered on October 6, 2021. It is the fifth series in the CSI franchise and the sequel to the long-running series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. New characters in the series include Paula Newsome, Matt Lauria, Mel Rodriguez, and Mandeep Dhillon.

William Petersen and Jorja Fox reprise their roles as Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation for the first season before departing, respectively, while Marg Helgenberger reprises her CSI: Crime Scene Investigation role as Catherine Willows beginning with season two. Wallace Langham, Paul Guilfoyle, and Eric Szmanda return as David Hodges, Jim Brass, and Greg Sanders, respectively, as guests.

Originally billed as an epilogue limited series, the program was revived for a second season in December 2021, despite the absence of Fox, Petersen, or Rodriguez. The first season had 10 episodes. The second season, consisting of 21 episodes, aired on September 29, 2022. CBS renewed CSI: Vegas for a third season on February 21, 2023, with the show planned to air during the 2023-24 television season.

The second season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation takes viewers inside a crime lab in Sin City, where not everything stays in Sin City. Season 3 of CSI: Vegas will differ marginally from season 2 as the program moves to a new day but maintains the same 10 p.m. ET/PT time slot.
