Blur, Queens of the Stone Age, and More in the Headlines for Roskilde 2023
Blur, Queens of the Stone Age, and Christine and the Queens are among the acts who have been included in the first wave of performers that have been announced for the Roskilde Festival’s 2023 release.
From June 24 through July 1 of the next year, the Danish event that is put on by a non-profit organisation is scheduled to return for a “eight-day study of music, art, activism, and community.” This is the location where tickets can be purchased.
The announcement that Blur will be headlining Roskilde was made today, November 30, by the event’s organisers. This comes 20 years after the band’s previous performance at the festival. In addition, Queens of the Stone Age will be at the top of the list in the 23rd and will perform tracks from their next album.
Under their new alias, “Redcar,” Christine and the Queens are planning to perform a show that has been described as being “flawlessly staged.” In addition, Burna Boy is positioning himself to compete for the last available top spot.
Other artists such as Rina Sawayama, Alice Glass, Denzel Curry, Tove Lo, Japanese Breakfast, 070 Shake, and Hudson Mohawke are currently scheduled to perform at the event as well.

Tickets for the first show at Wembley have already been purchased by the public, however there are still some seats available for the second performance which can be found here.
At the beginning of this month, frontman Damon Albarn stated that he had succeeded in living up to the anticipation that the fans had for the long-awaited concerts.
