Are Leuh And Justin From MTV’s Catfish Still Together?
“Catfish: The TV Show” has been following several romance seekers as they search for the truth about their online hobbies since its 2012 premiere. Sadly, the show has had to break the news that a large number of online lovers are actually “catfishing,” or posing as someone else.
However, there have been multiple occasions where hosts Nev Schulman and Max Joseph—who was later replaced by Kamie Crawford—have brought together individuals who have only communicated virtually.
One of these instances was the Leuh Terrigino and Justin Croom love story from Season 5, which debuted in March 2016.
As is often the case with “Catfish” stories, Croom and Terrigino first connected on Instagram and later went offline. When Croom refused to allow her to video chat, Terrigino was suspicious even though they had finally started talking on the phone.
After a while, the hosts assisted Terrigino in traveling from New York to California to meet with Croom.
He was, to everyone’s amazement, exactly the person he had presented himself as online. He did, however, confess on the show that he was seeing another woman, which led to him ghosting Terrigino and the hosts of “Catfish” because he had no desire to be on the show.
Terrigino met Croom when he was unmarried and everything had been forgiven. Though the pair underwent a number of adjustments once they were in the real world, it appears that Croom and Terrigino were a “Catfish” success story when the filming was completed.
Leuh Moved Permanently to California
Even though a lot of “Catfish” couples fail to last when the cameras stop, Leuh Terrigino and Justin Croom appeared to try. She even moved to Huntington Beach, California, in May 2016 from Rochester, New York, in order to be nearer to Croom.
Through her now-private social media accounts, she informed her devoted “Catfish” admirers of her news. The couple also celebrated a number of other significant occasions together, including their anniversary.

Terrigino appears to have had great expectations prior to her major transfer. Croom made a joke during their “Catfish” episode stating that he and Terrigino will work things out “once at the wedding.”
He informed the hosts that they would be invited to attend the wedding, again hinting at a potential union.
Nev Schulman said, “You guys would be the first ‘Catfish’ wedding—we’re always hoping for it.” Regretfully, the couple’s wedding never happened. Instead, a few months later, they called it quits.
Are They Still Together?
Things began to go wrong for Leuh Terrigino and Justin Croom after the latter moved to be nearer to the former. Terrigino disclosed that she and the surfer had broken up later in 2016. “Over the past year, I’ve learnt a great deal.
Terrigino wrote in a strong tweet, “But most importantly, you can’t turn an internet man slut into a boyfriend.”
She refrained from sharing personal details about her reasons for calling it quits. Terrigino made the decision to stop posting on Twitter, so we don’t know what she is thinking about Croom anymore.
Terrigino keeps her Instagram and Twitter accounts private as of 2023. Croom’s once-active Facebook profile has been deleted, and it doesn’t seem like his Twitter account has been updated since 2018.
It’s unclear if they’ve stayed friends or if one of them is in a new relationship. In any case, Terrigino and Croom, the “Catfish” couple, momentarily joined the group of lovers who stuck together following the well-liked show.
