About Aquaman
The 2018 American superhero movie Aquaman is based on the same-named DC Comics figure. The sixth film in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), which is being released by Warner Bros. The underwater country is run by Jason Momoa, who plays the king of Atlantis. What Was The Aquaman Plot?
Thomas Curry, a lighthouse keeper on Maine’s Mount Desert Island, saves Atlanna, queen of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, from a storm in 1985. They get married, and the boy they have is called Arthur. He can talk to sea creatures.
When King Orvax’s troops come to get Atlanna, who has left her planned marriage in Atlantis, she fights them, but she has to leave her family to protect them from her enemies.
She goes to Atlantis and tells Arthur’s assistant, Nuidis Vulko, that she will come back when it is safe to do so. When Arthur finds out that Atlanna was punished by Orvax for liking a human and having a half-breed child, he turns against Atlantis and becomes a strong warrior.
After Steppenwolf is killed, Arthur finds himself in the middle of a pirate attack on a Russian Akula-class submarine. During a failed attempt to kill Arthur, the boss of the pirate group is killed. David, the son of the boss, swears to get even with Arthur.

Orm Marius, Orvax’s son, and Arthur’s younger half-brother, along with King Nereus of Xebel, try to convince Arthur to help bring Atlantis back together and get rid of the surface world for fouling the seas. If Orm is able to rule over all four kingdoms, he will be called Ocean Master and be in charge of the most powerful army in the world.

Aquaman 2 Story
As filming for Aquaman (2018) went on, Jason Momoa came up with a story idea for a sequel. He told Warner Bros. Entertainment chairman Toby Emmerich and director Peter Safran about it.
GameSpot says that rumors that Conan will be in Aquaman 2 have been proven false, so he might be in the 2018 film’s sequel. Fans should, however, expect to see him soon.
Before the movie came out in October 2018, Maestro said he would be more involved in making a possible sequel, and the movie’s director, James Wan, said that since there were still seven underwater kingdoms that hadn’t been fully explored, it could lead to a lot of spin-off stories.
By the end of January, Aquaman was on track to become the highest-grossing film based on a single DC Comics character. Warner Bros. had reached a deal with Wan to help with the making and writing of a sequel, with the option of him directing it again.
The movie takes place in the same world as The Last Jedi, but it’s more of a prequel than anything else. The movie shows how Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) grows up on an island called Themyscira, which is under the sea. As part of his training, he learns how to handle his Atlantean powers and take on roles of leadership.
Early in February 2019, Warner Bros. hired Noah Gardner and Aidan Fitzgerald to write the story for The Trench, an Aquaman spin-off movie that takes place in one of the new worlds set up in the first movie. Reports said that the movie was meant to have a lower budget and not have the main cast of Aquaman.
Before getting into Aquaman’s story, it’s important to note that DCEU fans have been unhappy since Justice League, even though Wonder Woman got good early reviews. Zack Snyder, on the other hand, has said that he would love to direct the sequel and that he has already finished writing a script for one.

Wan and Safran were supposed to direct the movie, but it wasn’t clear if they would. Warner Bros. decided that the movie would come out on December 16, 2022, at the end of February.

The first Aquaman movie came out in the UK on November 26, 2018, and in the US on December 21, 2018. With $1.148 billion in sales, it was the most successful DCEU movie and the most successful movie based on a DC Comics character. It was also the fifth most successful movie of 2018 and the 20th best-selling movie of all time.

Even though it got a lot of praise for its visuals, production design, tone, action scenes, Wan’s direction, and Momoa’s acting, it got a lot of criticism for its story and length. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, a new movie, is set to come out in December 2023.
