After Ross Butler’s departure from the role of Reggie Mantle, Charles Melton assumed the character in the inaugural episode of season 2.

Melton faced challenges as he could not portray Reggie throughout the initial half of the last season owing to schedule problems. Fortunately, he returned for the second half to contribute to a solid conclusion for Riverdale.
