Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman Reportedly Witnessed Ryan Reynolds Confront Justin Baldoni Over Blake Lively Fat-Shaming Allegations

The reported confrontation took place on April 25, 2023, at the Reynolds-Lively penthouse in New York City — months before production wrapped on the film that has since become the center of a multimillion-dollar legal battle.

The email claims that Baldoni “was fat-shaming Blake” by inquiring about her weight through her personal trainer, which led to the heated exchange. Reynolds reportedly told Baldoni, “How dare you f—ing ask about my wife’s weight? What’s wrong with you?”

The document further alleges that Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman — both close friends of Reynolds and Lively — were present during the encounter and witnessed the tense discussion. Sources claim Baldoni was “completely embarrassed and apologized,” even shedding tears during the confrontation.

Reps for Swift and Jackman have not commented on the claims.

In May 2024, Swift’s rep clarified that she had no creative or on-set involvement, stating:
