‘Hollywood Squares’ Reveals Star-Studded Season 2 Celebrity Lineup Ahead of January Premiere
CBS has officially announced the celebrity lineup for Season 2 of Hollywood Squares, and the rebooted game show is returning bigger than ever. After a highly successful first season that drew an average of 5.4 million live viewers per week, the network renewed the series as part of its 2025–2026 broadcast slate — and fans won’t have to wait long for new episodes.
Season 2 Premiere Date and Holiday Special
Hollywood Squares Season 2 will premiere on Wednesday, January 7 at 8/7c on CBS, with two back-to-back episodes. The timeslot will remain consistent until March 4, when the show shifts to 10:30 p.m. due to Survivor’s three-episode launch week.
Before the official Season 2 rollout, CBS will air a two-episode holiday special on Sunday, December 21 at 8/7c, giving fans an early taste of the new season’s energy.
The show will take a brief hiatus on February 24, again due to Survivor premiere programming.
