Does Kang Die in Ant-Man 3? The third film in the Ant-Man franchise, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantum Mania, debuted in cinemas on February 16 ahead of its broader release, and there is much to appreciate about it.
The film does an excellent job of maintaining the humour that made fans fall in love with the characters in the first place, but there is no denying that the third film in the franchise challenges our heroes in ways the previous films did not by pitting them against what may be the most ruthless foe to date.
From the minute we first caught a glimpse of the film in promotional materials, it was evident that this Ant-Man picture would be unlike any other.
It was also obvious that the film will raise the stakes in new ways, therefore it was only fitting that the film included several startling deaths that viewers probably did not see coming!

What Happened to Kang in Ant-Man 3?
Scott Lang and his allies arrived in time to oppose Kang the Conqueror and prevent him from utilising his ship’s energy core to transport himself and his army to the Council of Kings.
Ant-Man was able to dismantle the machinery that would have allowed Kang and his army to exit the Quantum Realm in his giant form. And at that point, Kang made the decision to enter the fight.
Utilizing the sophisticated technology of his suit, Kang defeated the freedom fighters and force them to retreat. Moreover, he beat Scott, Hope, and Cassie, who were attempting to keep him at bay.
As Hank and his army of enormous ants arrived, Kang, the Conqueror finally met his match. MODOK arrived to betray his master and break Kang’s shields, allowing the huge ants to overpower him while he was able to defend himself against the ants.
Scott and the others believed that the Conqueror had already been defeated, so they used Kang’s energy core to open a portal back to their world.
But, just as Hank, Janet, Hope, and Cassie returned to their reality, Kang reappeared to prevent Scott from coming home.
A confrontation between Kang and Ant-Man was imminent. Kang, however, was able to defeat Scott because of his more powerful suit (despite its damage).
Hope returned to restore balance, and she and Scott decided to utilise their Pym discs to destroy the energy core.
Kang, in desperation, attempted to prevent the discs from destroying the energy core, but the core imploded, taking the Conqueror with it.
We have no idea what occurred or how the energy core was destroyed. Nonetheless, Kang was definitely killed at that time.

Does Kang Really Die in Ant-Man 3?
At the conclusion of Quantum Mania, Ant-Man and the Wasp prevented Kang from entering the Earth-616 universe. Instead, Wasp shoots him and drives him into the centre of his interdimensional ship, which explodes and pulls him inside.
But is Kang dead? The golden rule is that if you do not see a body, the individual is alive. So, there is still a chance that the Conqueror is still alive and can escape the Quantum Realm.
Nevertheless, the Council of Kangs is proceeding with plans to prohibit the MCU’s heroes from further interfering with the multiverse because they believe he is dead.
If we had to guess, this Kang is probably dead, but Marvel has plenty of wiggle room if it wants to get out of a tight spot in the future. If the Conqueror returns, it will likely be in the May 2, 2025 release of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
