Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Remain “Solid” Amid Split Rumors: Source Confirms “No Truth” to Divorce Speculation

Country star Blake Shelton and pop icon Gwen Stefani are brushing off recent reports of marital trouble. According to a source close to Stefani, the couple — who have been married for more than four years — remain “solid” and united as they balance their demanding careers and family life.

“There is no truth to the split rumors,” the insider told PEOPLE. “They’ve just been juggling demanding schedules. When they are together, it’s just so obvious how solid they are.”

Balancing Busy Careers and Family Life

The couple, who first met on The Voice and tied the knot in July 2021, have had a particularly hectic year. Shelton, 49, released his 13th studio album, For Recreational Use Only, in May and also executive-produced CBS’s new singing competition series, The Road. He’s preparing to return to Las Vegas in January for an eight-night residency at Caesars Palace following his successful run earlier this year.

Stefani, 56, has also been keeping busy. The No Doubt frontwoman dropped a deluxe version of her album Bouquet in March and recently announced a six-show residency at Las Vegas’s Sphere in May 2026.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's "Demanding" Work Has Affected Their Relationship Amid Split Rumors

Despite their professional commitments, both stars continue to prioritize family time with Stefani’s sons — Kingston, 19; Zuma, 17; and Apollo, 11 — whom she shares with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Shelton officially became a stepfather after their wedding, and friends say he takes the role to heart.

“Sometimes they spend a lot of family time together and really treasure that, and then there are periods when the focus is more on work,” the source added. “They’re both at a place in their careers where they genuinely enjoy what they do and don’t want to give that up. It’s not always easy, but they make it work — that’s what family does.”

A Marriage Built on Friendship and Shared Joy

The pair’s connection began on The Voice in 2015, where they bonded over shared heartbreaks and mutual admiration. Over the years, they’ve become one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples, frequently showing affection at red-carpet events and sharing glimpses of their life on social media.

Earlier this year, Shelton reflected on their decade-long relationship, telling PEOPLE that time has flown by since they first met.

“Some of the things we talk about, we’re to the point where it’s like, ‘Oh, remember what happened…’ and you realize, ‘Oh my God, that was eight years ago!’” he said. “It’s like, how did this happen so quickly?”

Despite years together, Shelton said their relationship “still feels new.”

“I feel like that might be the key to happiness — that it still feels exciting and fresh,” he added.

United Heading into the Holidays

As the couple heads into the holiday season, they’re expected to continue one of their favorite traditions: cooking their signature Timpano pasta dome for Christmas — a dish Shelton reportedly started making early in their marriage.

Far from any rumors of separation, friends say the couple’s relationship is grounded in mutual respect and laughter.

“They’re best friends who happen to be married,” the insider said. “They’ve been through so much together, and that bond isn’t going anywhere.”
