Kristin Cavallari Confirms She’s Dating a New Man in Los Angeles

Reality TV star and entrepreneur Kristin Cavallari is opening up about her dating life once again. The Laguna Beach and The Hills alum revealed on her latest episode of the Let’s Be Honest podcast that she’s currently seeing someone new — a man based in Los Angeles.

A Long-Distance Connection

During the Tuesday, December 9, episode, Cavallari, 38, candidly shared that her new relationship is casual but enjoyable.

“This guy in L.A. that I am dating, he’s in L.A., I’m in Nashville, and he’s busy, I’m busy,” Cavallari explained. “We do not really have a texting relationship. There is a text once in a blue moon, and there’ll be a little back and forth — but not much.”

The Uncommon James founder said the man will occasionally call her, though weeks may go by without much contact.

“I’m not reaching out to him either because life is busy,” she continued. “I think we want to date someone who has something going on — someone who’s busy and can’t text or call you all day.”

Cavallari emphasized that her approach to relationships has matured since her previous experiences, especially after learning to balance love, work, and motherhood.

The mother of three revealed that earlier in her dating life, inconsistent communication would have triggered insecurity — but she’s now more grounded and confident.

“Before, when I wasn’t hearing from someone consistently, it would trigger old wounds and patterns,” Cavallari said. “Now I’ve moved into this phase of, ‘I like when I hear from this guy, but I’m not thinking about him all day long.’”

The reality star has previously spoken about her commitment to inner peace and personal growth, especially after navigating her high-profile divorce.

Life After Divorce

Cavallari was married to former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler from 2013 until their separation in April 2020. The couple, who share three children — Camden (13), Jaxon (11), and Saylor (9) — finalized their divorce in 2022.

At the time of their split, Cavallari announced their decision with grace and gratitude.

“With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” she wrote on Instagram. “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared and the children we are so proud of.”

Following the breakup, Cavallari was linked to several high-profile men, including comedian Jeff Dye, country star Chase Rice, model Mark Estes, NHL player Nate Thompson, and NBA coach Will Hardy.

A Peaceful New Chapter

Reflecting on the past few years, Cavallari said her focus has shifted toward inner calm and emotional clarity.

“The last five years have been instrumental for me,” she told Us Weekly earlier this year. “Getting a divorce and cutting toxic relationships out of my life were big steps. I’ve learned what truly brings me peace.”

She added that her life now feels more “normal and grounded” than ever before.

“My whole life was never peaceful, even growing up,” she shared. “Now I really value stillness and quiet. I’m proud of the work I’ve done to get here.”

As for her mystery man in Los Angeles, Cavallari didn’t share his name — but fans are already curious. For now, she seems content keeping things light, honest, and balanced.
