Kim Kardashian Shocked After Doctor Reveals ‘Low Activity’ in Her Brain Scan
Reality TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian was left stunned after learning from her doctor that a portion of her brain is showing “low activity,” as revealed in the latest episode of The Kardashians.
During a visit with celebrity psychiatrist Dr. Daniel Amen, known for using brain-scanning technology on high-profile patients, including other members of the Kardashian family, Kim was shown images of her brain that appeared to have “holes.”
“The front part of your brain is less active than it should be,” Dr. Amen told her. “With your frontal lobes, as they work now, it would be harder to manage stress — and that’s not good for you, especially as you’re studying and getting ready to take the bar exam.”
The doctor praised other aspects of her brain, saying it looked “beautiful” and showed that she is “not terribly stressed, not anxious, and not depressed.” He also reassured her that she was “extraordinary in being positive” and unlikely to face Alzheimer’s disease later in life.
Still, Kardashian was unsettled when she noticed “holes” in her brain scan.
“That just can’t be,” she said. “I’m not accepting that interpretation because it just can’t be.”
At the time, Kim was juggling intense stressors — preparing for the bar exam, attending the Met Gala, and preparing for her Paris robbery trial — all while managing public scrutiny and ongoing tension with ex-husband Kanye West.

“The bar is in two months. I have the Met Gala. I have my robbery trial coming up,” she said. “I got to get on a plan to really figure this out because I have some s–t to do this summer.”
Dr. Amen explained that “chronic stress” was the likely culprit for her brain’s reduced activity levels.
Balancing Pressure and Personal Challenges
Kim, 45, has openly discussed the emotional challenges of co-parenting her four children — North (12), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (6) — with West, following their 2021 divorce.

“People think that I have the luxury of walking away,” she said in a confessional. “My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together.”
Last week’s episode of The Kardashians revealed another health scare when Kardashian disclosed that doctors found a brain aneurysm that had been present for years.
“They called me today, and they’re like, ‘Everything looks great. But you have an aneurysm in your brain,’” she recalled. “It’s been there for like years.”
From Bar Exams to Box Office Success
Although she didn’t pass the bar exam — a moment she humorously blamed on ChatGPT — Kardashian found success in her acting debut with Hulu’s All’s Fair, where she stars as a high-powered attorney.
Despite receiving mixed reviews, the legal dramedy became Hulu’s most-watched scripted series in years and was renewed for a second season just weeks after its premiere.
Even with her “low-activity” brain results, Kim remains as ambitious and driven as ever — proving that nothing can slow down the multi-hyphenate mogul.
