Dirty John is an American true crime anthology television series that premiered on Bravo on November 25, 2018, based on Christopher Goffard’s podcast of the same name. Outside of the United States, Netflix made it available on February 14, 2019.
Alexandra Cunningham, who is also an executive producer alongside Richard Suckle, Charles Roven, Mark Herzog, Christopher G. Cowen, and Chris Argentieri, conceived the series. Two seasons were initially ordered for the series.

Dan Broderick began an affair with Linda Kolkena, then 21 years old, after she joined his firm in 1982 as a receptionist/legal assistant. Betty became suspicious of their close relationship in late October 1983, but Dan consistently denied any wrongdoing. It is unknown when their affair began.
