Early Life of Ncuti Gatwa
Ncuti Gatwa was born on October 15, 1992, in the Rwandan city of Kigali, in a place called Nyarugenge. His father’s name is Tharcisse Gatwa, and he was born and raised in Rwanda’s Karongin District.
He got a Ph.D. in religion and worked as a journalist. During the Rwandan genocide in 1994, the whole family left Rwanda and moved to Scotland. They live in Edinburgh and Dunfermline and grew up there.
Ncuti went to Boroughmuir High School and then Dunfermline High School for his schooling. Later, he went to Glasgow to go to school at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. In 2013, he got his Bachelor of Arts degree from that school.
