What Happened to Chris Hayes? When Chris Hayes joined MSNBC more than ten years ago, he quickly became one of the most important voices in the world of left-leaning media.
As of now, Chris is hosting All In. He has been doing this for more than ten years, and he and his team have won several Emmys for it.
You may have noticed that All In is not on at its regular time on MSNBC this week if you watch it often. As soon as people learned this, they naturally wanted to know what happened to Chris and if he had any plans to leave MSNBC soon.
What Happened to Chris Hayes on MSNBC?
Chris is fine. In fact, if you follow him on Twitter, you’ll see that he’s still writing a lot about today’s news. It’s clear that he spends most of his Sundays watching football.
Chris is working on other projects and spending time with his family during the week of September 25, 2023. But many people are wondering what this means for his MSNBC show and when he will be back to it.
Is Chris Hayes Leaving MSNBC?
There is no sign from Chris that he wants to leave MSNBC. Rather, it looks like he and his show are off the air for at least a week so he can spend time with his family.
It’s normal for this to happen on cable TV, where you have to host a show every night and it’s not always clear when you can take a break. There has to be TV, but Chris shouldn’t have to host every show all year.
Anyway, the bottom line is that Chris will be hosting All In again soon. Along with his show, he has built up some side jobs, such as a podcast he has been hosting since 2018 called Why Is This Happening? Even though that work goes along with his show, it doesn’t look like it will take its place, at least for now.
I’m not a member of the WGA yet, but I hope to be soon. I’m amazed at how united, determined, and disciplined they’ve been during this strike. (good job, @luvhrakhe)
Who is Chris Hayes’ Partner?
Chris isn’t the only one in his family who makes podcasts. Kate Shaw, his wife and a law professor, runs her own podcast with a few coworkers.
The show is called Strict Scrutiny, and it’s all about the U.S. Supreme Court and the way lawyers work together. Kate is a teacher at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University. She and her husband have three children together.
Much like Chris, Kate and her podcast lean to the left. She and her co-hosts often criticize the court for choices it makes that are conservative.
