The protagonist is a fifteen-year-old boy named Iruma Suzuki, who was sold to a demon by his self-centred and negligent parents (thus the show’s title). Thankfully, Sullivan only wants the boy to become his grandchild so that he can lavish his love on the young guy.

Then he signed him up for classes at the Babyls Demon Academy. Iruma is terrified that his demon classmates will eat him if they find out he’s human, so he tries valiantly to blend in, but he always manages to put himself in precarious situations that draw unwanted attention to himself.

Iruma’s grandpa is the chair demon at his new school and makes no effort to hide the fact that he is hiding his grandchild’s identity. Iruma’s reputation takes a nosedive once he is made to speak in front of the assembly and chant an illegal spell.
