Users Will Have Exclusive Access to “Lost and Found” Air Jordan 1s Through SNKRS
The Nike SNKRS app will be the only place where you can purchase one of the most highly anticipated Air Jordan 1 releases of this year when it goes on sale early next week.
This particular pair is the “Lost and Found” Air Jordan 1 High, which is a reimagining of the “Chicago” hue that was first introduced for the sneaker in 1985. Nike made the announcement today that the design will be available on SNKRS for its official launch on November 19; however, the company also stated that a select group of app users will have the option to purchase a pair of the shoes early on November 8.
The shoes will be made accessible ahead of schedule through a launch programme known as “exclusive access.” This programme provides app users with the opportunity to purchase a pair of highly sought-after products.
Nike said that users who have competed and lost at least 20 different Air Jordan 1 High release competitions on the ecommerce platform will be given “special access.” The company also clarified that gaining early access does not necessarily ensure that the customer will be able to purchase the shoe in the size that is most suitable for them.
The previous year, Nike provided a breakdown of the process behind how it gives users “exclusive access,” specifically for the debut of the Off-White x Nike Dunk Low collection that included fifty pairs of shoes. The company has verified that the selection process for the items is based on over fifty different characteristics, one of which is user engagement, with the goal of assisting customers in gaining customised access to highly sought-after drops.
